Recent Graduate Physiotherapist - Temporary, Full-Time contract (until December 2026)

This position is responsible for providing a high-quality physiotherapy service to NBH. The Physiotherapy team at NBH provide a 7-day service to all inpatient areas, these include but are not limited to: aged care, intensive care, orthopaedics, surgical wards, neurosciences and neurosurgery, cardiothoracics, general medicine and the emergency department. 

About the Role

This role is open to recent graduate Physiotherapists years experience) who meet requirements for employment as a Physiotherapist (Level 1).

The position is a temporary (until December 2026), full time role (76 hours per fortnight).  

The position is responsible for providing a high quality physiotherapy service to all inpatient areas of NBH.  

This position will include participation in a weekend roster with one weekend shift worked approximately every 4 weeks.

Selection Criteria to be addressed in a cover letter:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist (or eligibility for the same).
• Recent and relevant experience and exposure in an acute hospital setting.
• Demonstrated proficient skills, competency and knowledge in the provision of current physiotherapy practice across a range of inpatient areas.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands, meet deadlines and complete allocated tasks (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required).
• Commitment to participation in professional development, quality improvement activities and workplace education.
