Recent Graduate Physiotherapist - Temporary, Full-Time contract (until December 2026)

This position is responsible for providing a high-quality physiotherapy service to NBH. The Physiotherapy team at NBH provide a 7-day service to all inpatient areas, these include but are not limited to: aged care, intensive care, orthopaedics, surgical wards, neurosciences and neurosurgery, cardiothoracics, general medicine and the emergency department.

About the Role

This role is open to recent graduate Physiotherapists (0 - 2 years experience) who meet requirements for employment as a Physiotherapist (Level 1).

The position is a temporary (until December 2026), full time role (76 hours per fortnight).

The position is responsible for providing a high quality physiotherapy service to all inpatient areas of NBH.

This position will include participation in a weekend roster with one weekend shift worked approximately every 4 weeks.

Selection Criteria to be addressed in a cover letter:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist (or eligibility for the same).
- Recent and relevant experience and exposure in an acute hospital setting.
- Demonstrated proficient skills, competency and knowledge in the provision of current physiotherapy practice across a range of inpatient areas.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands, meet deadlines and complete allocated tasks (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required).
- Commitment to participation in professional development, quality improvement activities and workplace education.
