About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will assist participants in achieving their goals, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life. You will provide both practical and emotional support tailored to each individual's needs within their home and community environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered support for individuals with mental health challenges
  • Assist with daily living activities, social engagement, and community participation
  • Implement individualized support plans in line with NDIS goals
  • Monitor and report on participant progress and wellbeing
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Communicate effectively with participants, families, and other team members

Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate IV in Mental Health (required)
  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in mental health support
  • Strong understanding of NDIS principles and participant-centered care

NDIS Worker Screening Check (Clearance)

Working With Children Check (WWCC)

National Police Check

Current First Aid & CPR Certificate

Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination (as per current requirements)

Valid Driver's Licence & reliable vehicle (preferred)

Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour
