Area Cleaning Supervisors

Ventia are seeking an Area Cleaning Supervisors to join our diverse team. These roles will involve frequent travel throughout an allocated geographical region in Central Coast. Ventia's NSW Schools contract delivers quality cleaning services in Schools and Government facilities across Central Coast as such; Newcastle, Gosford, Woy Woy, Umina, Erina, Wyong, Bateau Bay and many more surrounding suburbs.

About the role
We have multiple positions available, based on Fixed-term Contracts

• Ventia provides a company vehicle plus a fuel card
• Flexibility work hours - Early morning starts with some split shifts
• Managing an efficient roster of fulltime, part-time, and casual employees
• Be prepared to do some hands-on cleaning at times when required
• Manage your staff daily, including on call for sick leave or general inquiries
• Ensuring all school sites are compliant in relation to site documentation, equipment, chemicals, and consumables to achieve contractual compliance
• Communicating effectively with clients, customers and staff on issues pertaining to service delivery, operational issues, project progress and continual improvement
• Supervising staff and allow availability to emergency situations after hours
• Performing regular inspections to ensure work is delivered at the highest standard
• Promoting and monitoring safe work practices
• Provide information for monthly reporting in accordance with contractual and company requirements.

About you
The successful applicant will have proven supervisory experience, preferably in a facilities management or cleaning environment. Also must be flexible and willing to work different hours each day as most days commence on site at 5am, being adaptable to the needs of the business is critical.

• Resilient and capable of supervising cleaners across all shift times.
• Reliable and capable of supervising approx cleaners across all shift times
• Ability to lead, motivate, and influence your staff members to deliver excellent results
• An approachable, collaborative leader and who promotes a happy work culture
• Beneficial to hold qualification in Asset Maintenance or relevant field.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills
• Computer skills - experience with Microsoft programs, excel, outlook, etc.

Please note that as part of the recruitment process, you will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol test) and be able to obtain a Police Check and Working With Children Clearance (WWCC).
