About the role

Bayside BBQs & Outdoor Centre is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant to join our team at our Tingalpa, Queensland location. As a Sales Assistant, you will be an integral part of providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with all their BBQ and outdoor living needs.

What you'll be doing

  • Customer Service in a friendly and professional manner, including assisting customer with the speicifics on products.
  • POS system use, including setting up laybys.
  • Restocking of stock.
  • Assemblying stock.
  • Heavy lifting required.
  • Cleaning store.
  • Forklift licence is an added advantage.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service or retail sales role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Providing helpful customer service
  • Knowledge of BBQ and outdoor living products is preferablebut not essential
  • Availability to work a flexible roster, including weekend (rotated)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.95 – $26.55 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35.50 per week
