**About the role**

Bayside BBQs & Outdoor Centre is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic **Retail Sales Assistant** to join our team at our Tingalpa, Queensland location. As a Sales Assistant, you will be an integral part of providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with all their BBQ and outdoor living needs.

**What you'll be doing**
- Customer Service in a friendly and professional manner, including assisting customer with the speicifics on products.
- POS system use, including setting up laybys.
- Restocking of stock.
- Assemblying stock.
- Heavy lifting required.
- Cleaning store.
- Forklift licence is an added advantage.

**What we're looking for**
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail sales role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Providing helpful customer service
- Knowledge of BBQ and outdoor living products is preferablebut not essential
- Availability to work a flexible roster, including weekend (rotated)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $24.95 - $26.55 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35.50 per week
