Prosper Lane has partnered with an electrical contractor in Sydney's West with experience delivering large scale commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. For 15 plus years, they've built their reputation on precision, technical depth, and providing support to their teams.

We're looking for an engineer who can run the engineering calculations and model the detail, backed by a team that values initiative, accuracy, and collaboration. Someone fluent in both electrical engineering and Revit, who can move between design, modelling, and site support without missing a beat.

You'll take projects from concept through to construction ready models. That means designing LV systems, running technical calculations, and integrating them into live BIM models. You'll resolve clashes early, coordinate with other disciplines, and ensure what's delivered onsite meets both AS3000 and client standards.

What you'll be across

  • Managing design responsibilities including LV building services, cable sizing, maximum demand calculations, statuary lighting level calculations and DB schedules
  • Fault level analysis and earthing design
  • Producing and maintaining BIM models in Revit
  • Liaising with engineers, drafters, clients and contractors
  • Embedding design updates and field changes
  • Providing technical support to site based teams
  • Ensuring compliance with Australian standards (AS3000 and related codes)

What we're looking for

  • Valid Australian working rights
  • Electrical Engineering qualifications
  • Local experience across engineering + BIM modelling
  • Strong skills with Revit, AutoCAD, PowerCAD, Bluebeam
  • Background in commercial or infrastructure projects
  • Strong attention to detail in both calculations and modelling
  • Clear communicator who bridges design and site delivery
  • Problem solver who adapts to shifting project needs
