Currently we are seeking a Packaging Operator to join our team, working Monday to Friday on a weekly rotating roster of 6am-2pm one week and 2pm-10pm the following week.

$2,000 new starter stay bonus to successful candidates (half paid at 6 months and the remainder paid when you reach one year with us).

Main Duties

You will be joining our packaging team in our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility at Carole Park and will be responsible for:

  • Set up and operate packaging machines in accordance with relevant procedures and specifications. 

  • Ensure packaging line is operating at optimum speed.

  • Perform clean checks and line approvals

  • Enter data into SAP

  • Distinguish between poor and good quality product

  • Use chemicals to clean equipment and tools whilst adhering to cleaning schedules and other priorities

  • Understand the importance of PPE and ensure it is used correctly

  • Cleaning rooms and equipment and maintain a neat and tidy work place

  • Pack products as outlined in batch packaging documents and complete all relevant documentation

  • Store and transfer bulk tablets, packaging components and packed product appropriately

  • Ensure that packaging rooms and corridors are kept clean, neat and tidy at all times

  • Moderate physical demand including continuous, frequent lifting and moving of heavy weight materials

About You

  • Experience in a similar environment (preferred)

  • Problem solving skills

  • Neat handwriting

  • Initiative and a "can-do" attitude

  • Read and follow instructions

  • Calculate and solve mathematical problems using a calculator

  • Interpret and plot numbers on charts

  • Understand the importance of following Standard Operating Procedures.
