About the Role:

As a Psychologist at our Penrith clinic, you'll play a vital role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our diverse community. We are particularly seeking Psychologists with experience or interest in working across the lifespan, administering cognitive, autism and ADHD assessments and providing intervention for the neurodivergent community and capacity to support NDIS clients. You will be required to have excellent written communication skills for writing reports including NDIS review reports and reports from any assessments administered. This practice aims to be neuro-affirming and as such, experience administering MIGDAS and ADOS for Autism assessments is preferred. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including cognitive, autism and ADHD testing, using evidence-based tools and practices.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to clients of all ages, addressing a range of mental health and developmental needs.
  • Provide high-quality care to NDIS participants, including self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA clients, ensuring individual goals are met with compassion and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, client-centered care.
  • Engage in community outreach and networking to build referral pathways and support clinic growth.
  • Offer telehealth services and virtual consultations to ensure accessibility for all clients.
  • Contribute to CHM Virtual by creating engaging articles and helping tailor services to meet community needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
  • Experience with autism and ADHD assessments
  • Experience with NDIS participants, including an understanding of their unique needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
  • A commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
