Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Lane Cove Advantage Pharmacy in the dispensary. You will become part of our friendly team, involved in providing a great customer experience, quality healthcare services and focusing on achieving the best health outcomes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Previous experience in retail or pharmacy is desirable.
• Assist the pharmacists with dispensing workflow and servicing customers
• Maintaining management of scripts on file by putting away scripts and creating new files
• Maintain stock levels (filling and putting away daily delivery) and ordering in the dispensary
• Process Aged Care orders and or medication orders sent through from our Partnering Providers.
• Possesses excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanour.
• Demonstrates a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Has willingness to work as part of a team.
• Adaptable and willing to learn and take initiative.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience delivering outstanding customer service
• Well presented with excellent communication skills
• Willingness to be trained and keen to advance your career in pharmacy
• Flexibility as may be required to work on weekends
• Computer skill & good understanding of Point of Sale (Z Software) preferred
• Assist with ordering stock and replenish the store
• Make sure the store looks great by maintaining dispensary
