About the role

We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic Baristas and Front of House team members to join our dynamic and welcoming team at the Stag's Head Hotel in Williamstown, VIC. These are casual roles, providing flexibility to fit around your lifestyle. As key members of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing high-quality coffee and beverages to our customers' satisfaction
  2. Providing friendly and attentive customer service, anticipating guest needs
  3. Ensuring the bar and dining areas are well-stocked, clean and presentable
  4. Assisting with table service, taking orders and payments as required
  5. Maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment
  6. Contributing to a positive team culture and assisting colleagues as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role within the hospitality industry
  2. Legal authorisation to work in Australia is required
  3. A minimum of 2 years hospitality experience is preferred, however we offer flexibility for candidates with strong barista skills
  4. Strong coffee-making skills and knowledge of coffee equipment and techniques
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and customer-focused attitude
  6. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  7. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work a range of shifts including weekends and public holidays
  8. Availability to work a minimum of 3-4 days per week, Monday to Sunday
  9. Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  10. Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) (Front of House positions) and Food Safety certificates
