What you'll be doing

• Assist in the preparation of salads, sweets and sandwiches. and serving of breakfast, lunch, tea and any other meals as per rostered tasks requested.
• Assist in the striping of trays, dishwasher, and cleaning of dishes, utensil, benches, equipment, machinery, floors, ledges, hand basins, trolleys etc as required.
• Remove rubbish and waste when required.
• Maintain complete and accurate notes and other documentation relevant to the position

• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in food hygiene procedures.
• Demonstrated previous working experience relating to this position.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills ie written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated understanding of safe work practices and WHS requirements
• Ability to work shift work on a 7 day roster
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to the defined standards of ethical and professional conduct consistent with the current NSW Health Code of Conduct and/or relevant professional standards where applicable
