Hot Savouries Catering Assistant
Elizabeth Andrews Catering – Melbourne
We're looking for a hands-on kitchen assistant to join our Hot Savouries team. This role suits someone with solid kitchen experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
About the role
You'll be part of the team responsible for producing and preparing our hot savoury range, including:
- Batch cooking using a deep fryer
- High-volume prep work (e.g. making sausage rolls, pastries and other savoury items)
- Assembling and plating client orders for delivery
What we're looking for
- Previous kitchen experience in a catering, commercial kitchen or bakery setting
- Confidence using a deep fryer and working safely with hot oil
- Ability to work efficiently with high-volume prep and repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail when assembling and plattering orders
- A team player with a positive attitude
Role details
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
- Pay: HIGA Level 2, casual rates apply
