Now is the time to make the move to Hastings Deering in a Field Service Fitter position supporting our CAT mining customers. We have 7/7 roster opportunities to support sites across the Bowen Basin and around the Blackwater, Emerald and or Rolleston areas.

About the Role

  • Roster - 7/7 DAY shifts

  • Coal Mine Rates & Field Service Allowance

  • Tool of Trade Vehicle - Ex Rockhampton Area

  • Schedule Rate increases in Feb 2026 and Sept 2026

  • TRP: Circa $180 - $190K

About You

A successful teammate will have experience in: 

  • Relevant Trade qualifications and demonstrated service and repair experience on CAT

  • Proven and demonstrated mine site experience as a Fitter with a diverse product range in mining earthmoving and or construction equipment

  • Demonstrated experience on Caterpillar Diagnostic Systems (ET Vims, SIM Si and SIS)

  • Commitment to a high level of workplace health and safety
