Southport Printing Co. are seeking a full-time Wide Format / Signage Operator to join our team on the Gold Coast, QLD.

In this role, you will work directly under the Operations Manager to complete various print and finishing tasks. You'll enjoy set working hours and the opportunity for significant overtime.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performing offsite installations
  • Operating roll machines, flatbed printers and flatbed cutters
  • Applying jobs to substrates
  • Installing vinyl and rigid boards to multiple surfaces
  • Putting away stock
  • Collaborating with the production team to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Cross-training on multiple pieces of equipment and supporting team members as needed
  • Ensuring quality control and attention to detail in all work
  • Keeping the work area clean and adhering to safety protocols
About You

It is preferred you have experience in wide format printing including signage, flatbed and offsite installations. While not essential, candidates who are trade qualified will be held in high regard. We're looking for someone who has worked with similar equipment and enjoys a fast-paced environment. The right candidate will be keen, willing, and able to take on new challenges and adapt to a variety of tasks.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, with the choice between morning or afternoon shifts
