*The Role*
We currently have an opportunity for an Area Coordinator on day shift. The purpose of this role is to support the Area Manager by effectively making day to day decisions that are specific to your room, area or line of responsibility. This role is a permanent full-time opportunity, working Monday - Friday from 6:30am - 3:00pm, Paying rate of $36.04 p/h.

*Key Responsibilities:*

  • Collaborate with production staff to optimise processes where appropriate.
  • Review production plans with Area Manager regularly
  • Ensure start-up & changeover of the room is both managed and efficient
  • Have overall responsibility and accountability for the quality of all products from their designated line/area, with particular focus on safety implications
  • Overall responsibility for bringing the production team on the journey related to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Overall responsibility for management, daily rostering, engagement, expectations, communication, assessment and training, rewards & recognitions for all employees in designated room/shift.
