The Client

Our client is a global market leader in solutions for measuring and process technologies in industrial weighing, feeding, screening, and automation. They are an International Engineering and Manufacturing Company servicing the Mining & Resources sectors, holding an outstanding reputation. The manufacturing workshop is based in Jandakot.

The Role

We are recruiting experienced Boilermakers/Welders for ongoing assignments manufacturing and maintaining Screens & Agitators for the mining industry. The job is ongoing casual Monday-Friday and every other Saturday during busy periods. (overtime offered).

Job Requirements

  • Cert III Engineering Trade Qualifications
  • White Card
  • Recent Boilermaker workshop experience
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Recent Mig & Flux-core welding experience
  • Recent fabrication experience
  • Fully aware and able to comply with OH&S policies.
  • Must be physically fit, as you will be lifting up to 20kg and maybe getting in and out of the screens.
  • Strong working ethic and attitude
  • Able to work on one's initiative and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol before the start date and daily.

Desirable:

  • Current Forklift License
  • Current Basic Riggers or Dogman's ticket
  • Overhead Crane ticket & experience
  • Previous experience working on agitators and screens would be advantageous.
  • First Aid and National Police Clearance
  • Current Confined Spaces Ticket and Working at Heights
