About Us

We're a busy, community-focused café known for great coffee, delicious food, and exceptional service. We're looking for an experienced and motivated *Head Barista / Supervisor* to take a hands-on leadership role in our team, ensuring smooth daily operations and top-quality customer experiences.

The Role

As Head Barista / Supervisor, you'll lead the front-of-house team, set the tone for service and coffee standards, and help manage the day-to-day running of the café. You'll be responsible for maintaining stock levels, ordering stock, and managing staff rosters while keeping operations efficient and positive.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and serve consistently high-quality espresso and filter coffee.

* Supervise and support baristas and front-of-house staff during service.

* Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure all supplies are well managed.

* Order stock, receive deliveries, and manage inventory rotation.

* Create and manage staff rosters to ensure efficient shift coverage.

* Uphold café cleanliness, organisation, and equipment maintenance.

* Handle cashing up, opening, and closing duties.

* Assist with staff training and performance support.

* Deliver excellent customer service and represent the café's values.

About You

* Proven experience as a senior barista or café supervisor.

* Strong leadership and communication skills.

* Excellent knowledge of coffee preparation, café operations, and equipment care.

* Confident in managing stock control, ordering, and staff rosters.

* Organised, reliable, and proactive, with attention to detail.

* Passionate about coffee, teamwork, and creating a welcoming customer experience.
