You will be required to support Australian First Nations projects and artists as part of your role with AQ.

Arts Queensland is looking to fill two (2) AO7 Manager - Backing Indigenous Arts (BIA) (Australian First Nations) positions:

  • 1 x permanent flexible full-time; and
  • 1 x temporary flexible full-time for 12 months with possible extension.

Additional Information:

  • Salary: $129,090 - $138,273 p.a. (plus 12.75% super, 5 weeks annual leave, leave loading, and a regional allowance)
  • Salary and employment conditions are in line with the current State Government Entities Certified Agreement 2023 and Queensland Public Service Officers and Other Employees Award - State 2015
  • 1 x permanent flexible full-time and 1 x temporary flexible full-time positions with professional development opportunities
  • Please note a 3-month probationary period may apply to new employees of Arts Queensland in accordance with section 315 of the Industrial Relations Act 2016
  • Please note as part of pre-employment checks, suitable candidates may be required to undertake:
    • Evidence of attribute - Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identified roles as per current directive
    • A criminal history check under section 52 of the Public Sector Act (PSA) 2022
    • Complete a serious discipline history check (if required) under section 71 of the PSA
