About the Role
Cenzo's Café & Pizzeria is looking for a skilled and reliable Barista to join our friendly team. In this role, you'll be responsible for opening the café each day, preparing and serving consistently excellent coffee, and assisting with a variety of daily café and pizzeria operations.
This is a 5-day-per-week position, and weekend availability is essential. We're looking for someone energetic, dependable, and experienced in fast-paced environments who enjoys creating a welcoming and positive experience for our customers.
What You'll Be Doing
- Opening the café and preparing for daily service
- Making high-quality coffee and beverages consistently
- Delivering excellent customer service with a friendly, professional attitude
- Assisting with food preparation, pizza service, and other café tasks
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in all work areas
- Working collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth service
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Barista in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence operating the coffee machine and producing consistent coffee
- Latte art skills highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and brewing techniques
- Available 5 days per week, including weekends
- Reliability to open the café on rostered days
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and customer service skills
- Genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
