SkyCity Adelaide is currently looking for an experienced Communications Manager - Loyalty to join our Marketing team on a permanent, full-time basis.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Loyalty and Insights, your primary goal will be to ensure the success of loyalty and gaming-marketing promotions and offers, through the creation of exciting, engaging and effective customer marketing communications.

This position is responsible for the planning, design, copywriting, execution and ongoing optimisation of accurate, high-quality and compelling loyalty and gaming-marketing communications across all channels, including but not limited to email, SMS and digital on-site signage.

In doing so you will use your marketing and communications skills and experience to develop effective communications plans for all loyalty and gaming-marketing initiatives - the result being a schedule of communications which arrive with the right customer, at the right time, with the right message via the right channel.

On top of this, you will support the marketing team by providing guidance and support by being up to date on current market trends, technologies, opportunities, innovations and challenges, whilst ensuring compliance at all times by adhering to regulations, standard operating procedures and SkyCity's values. Developing excellent relationships with internal staff, colleagues and external industry partners is also a must.

About you

Your background in Marketing, Copywriting and Communications will be extensive, fast-paced and customer-centric, coupled with excellent knowledge of marketing communications processes, systems/tools and best practices. You will have excellent prior experience developing and implementing highly engaging and successful communications campaigns, being adaptable and able to successfully prioritise and manage workload, as well as being able to identify gaps and areas for development within the Marketing space.

Previous experience within the entertainment/casino industry, and/or experience working with loyalty programs will be highly desirable (but not mandatory), coupled with the below strengths:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy as well exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be a fun, creative, 'out-of-the-box' thinker with an opportunity mindset and passion for communications.
  • Creative and innovative, able to continually reinvent copywriting and messaging to keep customer communications interesting.
  • The ability to flex and adapt within a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Be compliance and procedure driven.
  • Able to work autonomously in an efficient manner and collaborate ideas effectively with team members.
  • Have strong organisational and time management skills.
  • High level of professionalism, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Approachable, personable and can build rapport easily with a diverse range of people at all levels.
  • The ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.
  • Loyalty program and/or casino/entertainment industry experience desirable
