About Us

Rita's is a contemporary Italian restaurant located in the heart of North Adelaide. We pride ourselves on offering a relaxed dining experience, blending authentic Italian heritage with modern Australian cooking. With a curated selection of South Australian wines and beverages, Rita's has quickly become a favorite destination for both locals and visitors.

We are now seeking an experienced and passionate Venue Manager to lead our team, oversee daily operations, and ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring smooth service and efficient workflows.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, roster, and motivate front-of-house staff, creating a strong and positive workplace culture.
  • Customer Experience: Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring service excellence and handling customer feedback professionally.
  • Financial Management: Monitor budgets, control costs, and manage stock ordering, inventory, and supplier relationships.
  • Compliance: Ensure the venue complies with liquor licensing, food safety, and workplace health & safety requirements.
  • Marketing & Events: Collaborate on promotions, events, and marketing initiatives to drive sales and maintain Rita's brand reputation.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to ownership regarding performance, staffing, and opportunities for growth.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Venue Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar role in hospitality.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid financial acumen and experience managing budgets, cost control, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of local hospitality trends and customer expectations.
  • Current RSA and sound understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Passionate about food, wine, and creating memorable guest experiences.
