About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Intake Officer / Medical Receptionist to provide vital administrative support to our Mob Link team. This role is central to ensuring smooth operations across Mob Link, playing a key part in engaging patients and providing efficient, culturally sensitive service.

This hybrid role involves a mix of working from home and at various office locations across South-East Queensland. You will:

• Provide exceptional customer service by handling appointments, referrals, incoming correspondence, patient enquiries, and administrative tasks.

• Ensure smooth intake operations by coordinating appointments, call flows, and confirming attendance.

• Provide exceptional administrative support to a multidisciplinary team.

Positions available:

• Full-time (38 hours/week, Monday - Friday)

• Casual

About You

We're looking for a passionate individual who can work in ways that are ethically and culturally respectful. To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work discreetly with sensitive information

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

• Ability to work autonomously and the ability to work within different teams

• Flexibility with shift times, as operating hours range from 7am to 8pm. Additionally, the role requires the ability to work a rostered weekend shift.

• Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Working with Children Blue Card (prior to commencement)

• Previous medical reception/administration experience (highly desirable)

• Proficient understanding in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Desirable but not mandatory:

• Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
