  1. Design, fabricate and repair dental prostheses including full and partial dentures, crowns, bridges, retainers and other restorative devices in accordance with dentists' prescriptions and clinical specifications.

  2. Create accurate models of the mouth and teeth from impressions or digital scans, and prepare frameworks and wax patterns to ensure correct fit, function and aesthetic results.

  3. Manufacture orthodontic and protective appliances such as mouthguards, splints and retainers for alignment, protection and restorative purposes.

  4. Carry out relines, repairs and adjustments to existing prostheses, ensuring that comfort and occlusion are maintained.

  5. Polish, finish and verify the quality of dental appliances before delivery, checking for accuracy, appearance and comfort.

  6. Operate, clean and maintain laboratory tools and equipment, including 3D printers and related digital devices, to ensure consistent and safe production.

  7. Coordinate with dentists, laboratory colleagues and the customer service team on case planning, design clarification, delivery timelines and necessary modifications.

  8. Maintain accurate case records, monitor material and consumable inventory, and comply with all infection control, safety and quality assurance procedures within the laboratory.

Requirement:

Qualifications

· Diploma (or equivalent qualification) in Dental Technology.

· Sound knowledge of dental materials (acrylic, chrome cobalt and ceramics) and laboratory procedures.

· Understanding of infection control and WHS standards in dental laboratories.

Experience

· Minimum two years' experience in a prosthetic or dental laboratory environment.

· Hands-on experience in fabricating dentures, crowns and bridges, including repairs and relines.

· Familiarity with digital or 3D-printing workflows for temporary crowns and splints is advantageous.

Skills

· Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.

· Ability to interpret clinical prescriptions accurately and apply practical judgment to case design.

· Effective time management and clear communication within a team environment.

· Strong commitment to precision, safety and continuous quality improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $77,000.00 – $88,000.00 per year
