We're currently expanding and have multiple positions available for experienced Male and Female Disability Support Workers across the northern suburbs of Perth.
About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with a range of needs, including intellectual disabilities and autism. You'll play a vital role in helping clients build independence, confidence, and connection through everyday support.
Your duties will include:
- Providing personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Manual handling and hoist transfers
- Supporting individuals with intellectual and autism spectrum disabilities
- Assisting with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, and community participation
- Implementing behaviour support strategies
- Promoting independence, dignity, and choice
- Accurate and timely documentation and reporting
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous Disability Support Work experience (essential)
- Experience with personal care and hoist transfers
- Experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities and autism
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Manual Handling training (desirable)
- Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate, honest, and reliable nature
- Australian work rights or valid work visa essential
