We're currently expanding and have multiple positions available for experienced Male and Female Disability Support Workers across the northern suburbs of Perth.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with a range of needs, including intellectual disabilities and autism. You'll play a vital role in helping clients build independence, confidence, and connection through everyday support.

Your duties will include:

  • Providing personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)
  • Manual handling and hoist transfers
  • Supporting individuals with intellectual and autism spectrum disabilities
  • Assisting with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, and community participation
  • Implementing behaviour support strategies
  • Promoting independence, dignity, and choice
  • Accurate and timely documentation and reporting

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous Disability Support Work experience (essential)
  • Experience with personal care and hoist transfers
  • Experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities and autism
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Manual Handling training (desirable)
  • Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate, honest, and reliable nature
  • Australian work rights or valid work visa essential
