About Us

Think Play Say is a small, neuroaffirming, family-centred speech pathology clinic supporting children, young people aged 3–20 years and their families. We're based on the Sunshine Coast and offer a friendly, values-driven environment where your learning is prioritised and your contributions are valued.

We are looking for a new graduate or early career speech pathologist who is ready to join a team real support, manageable expectations, and space to grow.

What we offer

  • Salaried position from $77,000 plus super (part-time options available)
  • Scheduled weekly supervision and mentoring tailored to your needs
  • Gradual caseload build – just 3 new clients per week
  • Sustainable target of 18 client sessions per week for your first year for new grads
  • Hands-on learning opportunities through shadowing, joint sessions and mentoring with a senior speech pathologist (20 years' experience in paediatric speech sound disorders, language and literacy)

About You

  • Current or in process: SPA membership, Blue card, yellow card and a Medicare provider number
  • Passionate about working with children and young people
  • Open to learning, asking questions, and growing into the role
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Committed to neuroaffirming, strengths-based practice (family in the room, kids do well when they can)
  • Willing to reflect, collaborate, and have a bit of fun along the way
