We are seeking experienced Stormwater Pipelayers to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work on a variety of projects with a supportive and safety-focused crew.

Job description:

As a Stormwater Pipelayer, you will be responsible for the installation and connection of stormwater drainage systems across civil construction projects. You will work closely with site supervisors and other trades to deliver high-quality outcomes, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare trenches and ground conditions for pipe installation
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install stormwater pipes to specification
  • Ensure watertight joints and system integrity
  • Read and interpret site plans and technical drawings
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Collaborate with site teams to meet deadlines and quality standards
  • Follow all WHS requirements and participate in site toolbox talks

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in stormwater or pipeline installation
  • White Card (Construction Induction) – mandatory
  • Current driver's licence and reliable transport – mandatory
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour
  • Ability to read and interpret technical plans and specifications
  • Proficient in using laser levels and be able to determine heights unsupervised
  • Strong understanding of WHS standards and safe work practices
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Certificate II in Civil Construction (or higher)

Desirable

  • Additional plant or machinery tickets (e.g., Excavator, Roller, Dumper, Watercart)
  • HR or MR truck licence
  • GPS (Topcon) experience
  • Experience with water and sewerage projects
