Who We Are:

Collingwood Park State Secondary College opened its doors in 2025 and is one of Queensland's newest and fastest-growing secondary schools. Located in the thriving Ipswich region, the College provides a safe, inclusive, and future-focused learning environment where students are empowered to achieve their personal best. In 2026, the College will cater for Years 7, 8, and 9, with a strong focus on building positive relationships, academic achievement, and innovative learning practices.

The successful applicant will be a leader who promotes excellence in teaching and learning, fosters collaboration among staff, and ensures students are engaged, challenged, and supported to achieve success. You will play a key role in building faculty culture, supporting staff capability, and embedding consistent, high-quality pedagogical practices across the curriculum.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the planning, delivery, and assessment of the Australian Curriculum in Mathematics and Science.
  • Supporting teachers through coaching, mentoring, and professional learning to enhance classroom practice.
  • Using data to inform decision-making, track student progress, and guide targeted interventions.
  • Building and maintaining positive and productive working relationships with staff, students, and parents.
  • Contributing to whole-school initiatives that promote engagement, achievement, and wellbeing. Modelling the school's values of Perseverance, Achievement, Respect, and Kindness in all aspects of leadership.
