About this role:
This is a chance to take the lead in connecting our Major Project Integration (MPI) Senior Leadership Team and Senior Managers with our Finance and Corporate Services function. In this role you'll drive the integration and prioritisation of Finance initiatives to align with key business objectives and outcomes.
You'll play a vital part in shaping business performance through rigorous, evidence-based analysis that supports smart investment and budget decisions. Your insights will help identify challenges, uncover opportunities, and recommend effective solutions.
With a focus on risk management, financial stewardship, and strong governance, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact on high-profile projects that shape our future.
Purpose That Counts - some of your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the financial management activities for MPI maintaining strong financial governance
- Evaluate MPI performance using management reports
- Ensure that financial risks in areas of responsibility are effectively managed
- Manage the development, implementation adoption and continuous improvement of the financial management systems
- Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts and reports for each of the MPI Divisions and project streams
- Undertake analysis and review of MPI financial performance skills gaps.

- Advanced skills in financial modelling, evaluation, and forecasting across both major projects and operational contexts.
- Exceptional influencing, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
