About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Storcad Pty Limited in Katoomba, NSW. As a full-time Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of self-storage fit out projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
What you'll be doing
- Developing and implementing project plans, including programs, budgets, and resource allocation
- Project estimation
- Material Procurement
- Coordinating and monitoring the work of contractors, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure project milestones are met
- Identifying and managing project risks, and implementing mitigation strategies
- Communicating regularly with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide updates and resolve issues
- Ensuring projects comply with relevant regulations, policies, and safety standards
- Continuously seeking opportunities to improve project management processes and efficiencies
- Regular interstate travel will be required
- Previous experience in Contract Administration would be an advantage but not essential.
- Successful applicant will be based at our Katoomba office.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of experience in a project management role, preferably in the self-storage or construction industry
- Strong technical knowledge of construction practices, materials, and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field
- A proven track record of delivering construction or fitout projects on time and within budget

Remuneration
Salary will be depended on experience. A company motor vehicle and phone will form part of the salary package as onsite visits and interstate travel is required.
