The team:

Riverina Occupational Therapy is a small private practice with 11 OTs across offices in Albury and Wagga Wagga. We are a community-based practice focused on providing high quality person-centred occupational therapy services in the aged and disability sector. All services are provided within our clients' home or the community across the northeast VIC and southern Riverina regions. With experienced therapists across complex seating, home modifications, hand therapy, NDIS home & living and DVA; you can be sure the support you need to develop as a therapist will be provided.

The role itself:

  • 30 hours per week, with flexibility in how these hours are completed
  • Work under the direction of our Occupational Therapists to support assessments, interventions and therapy delivery
  • Implement individualised therapy plans and activities designed by the supervising therapist
  • Engage positively with families, support networks and carers to encourage participation and progress
  • Prepare resources, materials and environments for therapy sessions
  • Travel within the local area to provide services in the community
  • Provision of company laptop and phone
  • Flexible working arrangements and a friendly, collaborative team culture
  • Meaningful and varied caseload

Who you are:

  • Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Allied Health Assistance or currently studying Occupational Therapy (or another relevant allied health discipline)
  • Previous experience supporting Allied Health professionals (desirable)
  • A genuine passion for helping participants reach their goals
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organised, flexible and able to work independently while part of a supportive team
  • Current drivers' licence
  • Current National police clearance and working with children check (or ability to obtain)
