About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst to drive data collection, validation, and analysis delivering insights and reports. The role contributes to delivering the NSW Government's commitments under Closing the Gap and advancing Aboriginal land and cultural heritage reform. You'll be part of Aboriginal Affairs within the Reform and Innovation team - a team dedicated to working in genuine partnership with Aboriginal peoples and communities to shape policies and reforms that reflect their voices, needs, and aspirations.

- You can uncover insights from data, transforming numbers into meaningful reports that drive strategies and policies.
- You're innovative in your approach to solving challenges, finding smarter ways to analyse, interpret, and present data.
- You understand the cultural considerations of working with Aboriginal data.
- You have demonstrated workplace experience and proficiency writing data queries and developing dashboards.
- You're adaptable in working with diverse stakeholders, navigating complex data issues, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- You have a sharp eye for detail and the technical expertise to validate, analyse, and communicate data with precision and impact.
- Experience working with diverse data and metrics will be highly regarded.
