Creating the Next Generation of Marine Engineers
Programmed, in partnership with Svitzer Australia, is seeking Expressions of Interest from individuals based in Geraldton WA who are ready to take the next step in their career through a full-time paid Marine Engineer Traineeship.
This program provides a structured pathway towards achieving your AMSA Engineer Class 3 NC Certificate of Competency - a unique opportunity to earn while you learn, gain valuable sea experience, and develop your skills in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.
About Svitzer
Svitzer Australia keeps port operations moving safely - day in, day out.
From harbour towage to terminal support, their crews manage the arrival and departure of vessels, support terminals, and work as part of tight-knit operational teams that are essential to Australia's maritime trade.
About You

The program also provides practical sea time, mentorship from experienced engineers, and ongoing guidance throughout the certification process.
