We're seeking a highly capable Project / Launch Manager to lead a major automotive product program through a critical transition from prototype to full production.


About the Role

In this high-impact role, you will take ownership of a game changing program — an advanced system for an autonomous vehicle platform — and drive its successful launch into production.

You'll act as the central link between engineering, operations, suppliers, and customers, ensuring alignment across timelines, quality, and readiness milestones.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of the program into full production — on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, and operations to ensure production readiness.
  • Oversee supplier performance, logistics, and quality approvals.
  • Implement launch and risk management plans, resolving issues proactively.
  • Track and report key KPIs such as build rates, quality performance, and supplier readiness.
  • Serve as the key interface between the organisation, the client(s) and supply chain partners.

About You

You're a hands-on, resilient project or operations professional with deep manufacturing and launch experience. You thrive in complex, fast-paced environments and have a track record of successfully taking innovative products from prototype through to production.

You'll bring:

  • 10+ years' experience in automotive or advanced manufacturing.
  • Proven capability in project or launch management.
  • Strong supplier and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance technical depth with strategic oversight.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
