Residential Aged Care Worker – Casual – Nundah Location

Casual Residential Care Worker position

Hours : 24hrs rotation roster

Location : Nundah

Days : 7 days / week / hours per week

Immediate availability preferable

Proficiency in Polish or another Eastern European language is highly desirable

About The Role :

Working from our aged care facility at Nundah, required Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification and genuinely enjoy working with seniors.

You will work a variety of shifts and provide services such as personal care, domestic assistance, laundering, preparing and assisting with meals, social support and medication prompting.

You will be well-supported in your role by our Villa manager and Registered Nurse training will be provided.

Key requirements:

  • Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing / Disability) or equivalent
  • Highly desirable : minimal 2 years of experience working in Aged Care
  • A reliable, patience, high empathy, and a compassionate nature where you genuinely enjoy looking after and helping the elderly
  • "Can do" attitude with great communication skills with clients, families, and our team
  • Proficiency in Polish or another Eastern European language is highly desirable

Must Have Requirements :

  • Australian work rights (Citizen / Permanent Resident / Working Visa)
  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Flu Vaccination
  • Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)

Hours : 24hrs rotation roster

  • Afternoon shift
  • Morning shift
  • Night shift
  • Public holidays
  • Weekend availability

Pay: $40.00 – $44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week

Education:

  • Certificate I - IV (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • National Police Check / willingness to obtain one (Required)
  • First Aid Certification (Preferred)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (Required)
