Minarah College is currently seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic and committed relief casual teachers across both Primary and Secondary year levels to join our vibrant and supportive College community in Green Valley NSW 2168.
The OpportunityWe are currently seeking Casual Relief Teachers in both Primary and High School to support the College on a day-to-day basis, replacing permanent or temporary staff on short-term leave. You may be required to teach across a variety of subject areas, depending on college needs.
We welcome applications from both early career and experienced teachers who are aligned with college's mission and values.
Applicants must hold a teaching degree and current NESA registration as minimum qualifications for casual relief teacher positions.
Suitable candidates will be interviewed and if successful will be placed into an active Casual Relief Teacher (CRT) pool, with potential opportunities to be considered for future positions as they become available.
As a casual relief teacher, you'll play a vital role in supporting student learning and wellbeing while upholding the College's ethos. You will have the opportunity to work in a nurturing environment that values collaboration, innovation, and spiritual growth.
We are looking for relief teachers who:
- Hold current NESA registration.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the Islamic ethos and values in both teaching and relationships
- Have a sound knowledge of the NSW Curriculum
- Can confidently manage classroom routines and build rapport quickly with students
- Approval to teach in NSW.
- Demonstrated excellence in classroom teaching.
- Strong understanding and a commitment to the ethos of an Islamic school.
- Effective classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Proficiency in ICT and ability to work in a contemporary blended learning environment.
- Proven capacity to differentiate learning to meet diverse student needs.
- A current Working With Children Check and understanding of professional child safeguarding practices.
- Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident as sponsorship is not available for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the College's curriculum and teaching requirements.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement and development.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with the College's policies.
- Assessing and providing feedback on student progress as required.
- Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the broader school community where possible.
Employment Conditions:
Teachers at Minarah College are employed under the Independent Schools (Teachers) Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025
