Position Description

Sync Lift Engineering currently have exciting opportunities available for skilled and motivated team players to join our growing Projects & Shutdowns Division.

We are looking for motivated individuals for ongoing, diverse work commencing ASAP. We have a range of projects & shutdowns in various sites across the Bowen Basin and interstate. The projects and shutdowns are booked back to back so the work is consistent and ongoing for the right applicants.

There are both casual and permanent opportunities available for the right applicant

Currently we have vacant positions for the below roles, where you can take pride in your work and be part of unique and exciting projects from Pit to Port:

• Project Managers
• Project Superintendents
• Project Supervisors
• Project Engineers/Controllers

In these roles you will be responsible for:

• Co-ordinating & leading the safe and efficient completion of project & shutdown works.
• Meeting project commitments, managing methodologies and managing change effectively to meet project objectives.
• Co-ordinating the purchasing of required materials, ensuring cost control & procurement efficiency.
• Regularly communicating with key stakeholders & team members to ensure dead lines and targets are met.
• Attending and contributing to client tender reviews, site walks & engineering meetings as required.

To be considered for these roles you must have:

• The necessary and up-to-date Australian trade qualifications
• Experience in supervision of diesel fitters in a mining field service environment
• Current G1, G8 & G9 qualifications
• A current Coal Board Medical
• A current Standard 11
• A positive Attitude to Health & Safety Excellence
• The ability to provide clear directions and supervise your team to work safely and achieve maintenance targets
• Excellent client interaction skills

The following qualifications are highly regarded:

• Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
• Current Standard 11
• Current Coal Board Medical

Successful candidates must be able to meet all site entry requirements including drug and alcohol testing and a pre-employment medical.
