The Role
Due to growth plans across the A/NZ region and investment in the Federal Government market, we are looking for a Senior Federal Government Account Executive.
You will be responsible for winning and driving expansion in major accounts, building out the Federal Government team and practice. You have experience selling to senior executives, heads of departments, technical architects and government systems integrators. Creative, energetic and a self-starter, you understand the sales process, how to sell innovation and disruption through customer vision expansion. You can drive deals forward and compress decision cycles. If you're a high achiever, we want to talk to you. We're looking for a track record of proven sales success with many years of experience selling to the government, with prior leadership experience a clear advantage.
Responsibilities
- Proactively prospect, identify, qualify, and develop a sales pipeline in the federal government sector
- Close business to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives
- Build strong and effective customer relationships, resulting in successful projects and satisfied customers.
- Support the growth and sell through the ecosystem including SIs and local partners.
- Work closely with other teams to include Professional Services, Training and Enablement to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.
- Qualify inbound leads representing key stakeholders, CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, IT architects and consultants from various organizations.
- Document sales opportunity and account details including use case, purchase timeframes, etc., and forecast using the Neo4j/Salesforce crm system.
Relevant Skills And Experience
- 10+ years of sales experience at software vendors with an emphasis on data, database, ETL, analytics, or BI. This is a senior-level sales position.
- Passion to sell and excellent people skills
- Over-achiever with the 'can do' attitude
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Ability to work independently, self-directed and remotely in a cross functional organization
- Some travel, but mostly limited to the Canberra area
