About Kai-Fella:

Kai-Fella is a dynamic and purpose driven Not for Profit organisation based in Western Australia. Since 2018, we have been committed to reducing youth suicide by addressing the challenges young people face, particularly around gender stereotypes and societal expectations. Through innovative workshops, we empower young adults to define their own version of themselves, encouraging self-awareness, courage, confidence, and emotional resilience.

As our Lead Facilitator, you will play a key role in reshaping the narratives that influence young people and help them navigate the world with confidence and clarity.

Role Purpose:

Kai-Fella is seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Facilitator & Client Manager to oversee the delivery and continuous improvement of Kai-Fella's suite of high school and community workshops for men and boys. This role also includes managing and developing our team of facilitators, contributing to strategic growth, and developing and maintaining client relationships.

A Working with Children Check must be obtained within 3 months of commencing this position.

You will ensure high-quality workshop delivery whilst supporting the sustainable growth of Kai-Fella through facilitator retention, client engagement and organisational development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of Kai-Fella's workshops to high schools, community groups, and sports clubs across WA, working with men and boys.
• Facilitate dynamic, engaging, and transformative workshops that challenge male societal expectations and support identity development.
• Adapt and improve workshop content to fit the needs of diverse groups (eg. trauma-affected, gender-diverse, culturally diverse, etc.)
• Manage the facilitation team including communication, wellbeing, retention and onboarding.
• Manage scheduling, logistics, quotes and calendars with stakeholders.
• Support the development of scalable projects, including training for teachers, community members and future facilitators.
• Australian work authorisation is required for this position.

Required Experience:

• A minimum of two year's leadership experience in facilitation or training, ideally in emotional resilience, mental health, or gender studies.
• Demonstrated experience engaging in conversations about mental health with young men.
• Deep understanding of male gender stereotypes and their impact on youth wellbeing.
• Proven ability to engage and inspire diverse groups, especially young men.
• Strong self-management skills, including emotional regulation, trauma informed care and time management.
• Experience in client management and business development.
• Commitment to self-reflection and practice improvement.
• Comfortable using SharePoint and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) for administration and reporting.
