About the Job

There is an exciting opportunity with the Projects &
Buildings Team for a Casual Cleaner. To ensure cleanliness and
hygiene are maintained at the Shire Administration and Operational
Buildings.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure that cleaning is undertaken at the designated
    building and within the allocated times.
  • In accordance with the attached schedule, cleaning duties
    may include, but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, emptying
    bins, cleaning toilets, sweeping, cleaning surfaces, removing
    cobwebs and dust etc.

This is a casual position, working 5-10 hours per week.

About you

In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must
have:

  • Ability to carry out cleaning duties with limited
    supervision.
  • Ability to use and maintain cleaning equipment, materials
    and chemical supplies.
  • Current class 'C' driver's licence.

Benefits

Hourly Rate: Salary $36.80

Permanent staff are entitled to:

  • 5 weeks annual leave per year
  • The option of one Rostered Day Off (RDO) every 4 weeks in
    exchange for working 40 hours per week.
  • Minimum of 12% superannuation employer contribution
  • Superannuation co-contribution offered to a maximum of
    5%
  • Free access to the Bay of Isles Leisure Centre (pool &
    gym)
