What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who's not only skilled but passionate about making a difference. Here's what you'll need to thrive:
- Qualifications: A Degree or Diploma qualification in Human Services or A Certificate IV in Community Services, Disability, Mental Health OR a Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work.
- Screening Checks: DHS Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening
- Experience: You've worked with people facing complex psychosocial challenges and know how to motivate and support them in achieving their goals.
- Skills: You're a problem-solver, a listener, and a compassionate guide. You have strong professional boundaries, and you're skilled at managing crises and conflicts.
- Energy: You're ready to bring your best to every client interaction, seeing the person beyond the challenges.
In addition, your lived experience within Mental Health or Peer Work recovery will allow you to:
- Inspire resilience: Through your personal journey, you'll instil hope and demonstrate that recovery is achievable.
- Provide meaningful support: Your ability to connect and offer a compassionate, non-judgemental approach will build trust with those you work with.
