We are offering an exciting opportunity to join the team as we are currently looking for a Dispatch Coordinator to come onboard at our Milperra based site

Qualifications & experience:

• Forklift Licence is a must
• 2+ years previous experience working in dispatch operations
• Keen attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team
• Excellent organisation, time-management and planning skills

Responsibilities:

• Manage the receival and delivery of goods.
• Liaise with external freight companies - scheduling, booking, tracking and organising pick-ups and deliveries.
• Communicate with other departments, around freight updates, bookings and scheduling.
• Complete the required documentation for your department.
• Follow appropriate inward and outward goods and storage procedures.
• Manage stock storage, making sure that all stock is stored neatly in designated positions.
• Load and unload trucks at pickup and delivery points (using forklifts).
• Pick stock for customer orders, according to internal quality and standards.
• Ensure all stock is secured and in good condition and is delivered intatct.
• Counting and confirming physical inventory.
• Inspecting invoices and picking/packing documents to ascertain all stock requirements.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene to both yourself and the warehouse area.
• Follow company WHS requirements, and ensure you operate in a manner that protects yourself and your fellow employees.
• Follow instructions well and operate in an orderly manner.
• Demonstrate our values and professionalism to our customers and act in the best interest of the company by adhering to all company policies and procedures, and requirement of this role.

The role involves working as part of a team, so communication skills are essential. You will need to be a safety focused worker, have a great set of work ethics and be a reliable team member. You will need your own transport and 2 contactable referees.
