Duties

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you'll play a vital role both in front of customers and behind the scenes. Your time will be split between:

Customer-Facing Duties

• Greeting and assisting patients

• Handling inquiries with care and professionalism

• Assisting the pharmacist with dispensing prescriptions

Non-Customer-Facing Duties

• Supporting patients over the phone

• Managing inventory: stock checks, ordering, and expiry date monitoring

• Carefully packing pharmacy orders to ensure accuracy and timely dispatch

• Helping with dose administration aid (DAA) when needed

• Processing and monitoring orders from our online portal and email.

• Keeping the workspace clean, organised, and safe

• Assisting with delivery tasks as required

Experience

• Previous experience in pharmacy or medical field is preferred but not required.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the accurate packing of orders are essential.

• Strong communication skills, including excellent phone etiquette, are preferred.

• A strong work ethic and dedication to maintaining a clean and orderly work environment are important
