Global College Australasia is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Student Recruitment Officer to join our international recruitment team.

This role is well suited to an experienced professional with a strong understanding of the international education sector, who is confident in engaging prospective students, meeting recruitment targets, and ensuring all recruitment activities are conducted in line with RTO and CRICOS compliance requirements.

The position will primarily focus on international student recruitment, with particular emphasis on the East Asian and Southeast Asian markets.

About the Role

You will be responsible for guiding prospective students from initial enquiry through to enrolment, managing relationships with both offshore and onshore education agents across the East Asian and Southeast Asian markets, and working towards agreed recruitment targets. All activities will be undertaken in accordance with ESOS, CRICOS, and RTO compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively support the recruitment of international students into RTO programs

• Assist prospective students by progressing enquiries through to confirmed enrolments

• Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with education agents

• Work towards achieving agreed monthly and quarterly recruitment targets

• Provide clear and accurate information regarding courses, fees, intakes, and campus locations

• Ensure all recruitment activities are conducted in accordance with RTO, CRICOS, and ESOS requirements

• Collaborate closely with admissions, compliance, and academic teams to support smooth enrolment processes

• Contribute to marketing initiatives, recruitment events, and information sessions

Skills and Experience Required


• An enthusiastic and motivated individual who is keen to learn, or who brings proven experience in student recruitment, education sales, or international admissions


• A willingness to develop, or an existing sound working knowledge of, RTO and CRICOS frameworks


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English


• Proficiency in one or more languages relevant to the target markets (such as Mandarin or Cantonese), together with a strong understanding of the associated cultures


• A good understanding of social media content creation and familiarity with major platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, WeChat, and TikTok


• A proactive approach, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively


• Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects effectively


• Cultural awareness and a genuine interest in global education


• Demonstrated ability to work towards, and achieve, recruitment or sales targets


• Confident interpersonal skills, including negotiation and enrolment conversion abilities


• Experience in managing relationships with international education agents


• The ability to balance recruitment outcomes with strict compliance requirements
