What we are looking for:

  • Permanent Production Operators
  • Production Operators (Day Work) - 4 and 3 roster – Monday to Thursday, or Tuesday to Friday
  • Production Operators (Shift) - Rotating 5 Panel Roster

Our Production Operators (Day Work) focus on the operation of our mobile equipment (loader, tipper truck, dozer, vac truck) as well as hosing for coal recovery and clean up.  These roles are four days a week, day work.

Our Production Operators (Shift) primarily operate our fixed plant equipment, and work a five-panel roster, rotating from 8 hour shifts during the week to 12 hour shifts on weekends.

All roles will involve; shift work, requiring physical stamina, and a positive safety conscious attitude is paramount.

Ideally, you will have:

  • C Class Drivers Licence
  • HR Truck Licence
  • Loader ticket
  • Fixed Plant equipment experience (Stackers, Reclaimers, Material Handling)
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills; and
  • Ability and willingness to learn computer-based systems.

Dozer, Vac Truck and Certificate III in Surface Extraction and Resource and Processing would be advantageous, although not essential. Candidates with previous Rail or Port Experience are encouraged to apply.

DBCT P/L will be holding an assessment centre interview process and shortlisted candidates need to be available to attend on 2 October 2025.

All applicants must have the ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
