Our showroom is busy, and we can't keep up

Tile Warehouse is looking for talented and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Sales Associate in our Trade Centre & Warehouse.

We are conveniently located just a couple of minutes from Lake Macquarie in Warners Bay, making it a great place to work close to the lake and local conveniences.

This is a full-time (5 days per week) position offering a dynamic and rewarding career opportunity within the retail and consumer products industry. You'll be part of a supportive, family-owned business where your contributions are valued, and training is provided to help you succeed.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing exceptional customer service to trade customers whilst also covering all operations as part of a team in the warehouse
  • Assisting customers with product selection & installation advice
  • Processing sales transactions and handling cash and credit card payments
  • Pack and load customer orders which will require you to be physically fit
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Stock receival, both tiles and tools
  • Maintaining an organised and well-stocked trade centre
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy warehouse

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing roles including retail, administration, trade sales, hospitality
  • Previous experience in warehousing or stock management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of tile and flooring products, or a willingness and interest to learn
  • Forklift experience or willingness to learn
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Available for full time work including a Saturday or Sunday

We are open 7 days - You will work 5 days on a rotating roster including 1 weekend day or the option to work 2 weekend days and have 2 weekdays off. We would consider flexible hours for the right candidate.
