Mobile Equipment Plant Apprentice – Start Your Trade Career with Leichhardt in Carnarvon
Are you mechanically minded and keen to kickstart a hands-on career in heavy machinery? Leichhardt is offering an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Equipment Plant Apprentice to join our hardworking team in Carnarvon, WA.

You'll Bring:
- A strong interest in mechanics and heavy machinery
- Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a team and follow safety procedures
- Completion of Year 10 or higher (preferred)
- A current driver's licence or working towards it
Working as an Apprentice you will be exposed to a variety of tasks which may include:
- Fault finding and resolving mechanical issues (repairs, removals, installations)
- Troubleshoot braking systems, steering and cooling systems
- Maintenance of equipment including brakes and suspension
- Assemble, fit, clean and lubricate machined parts using a range of tools and equipment
- Trouble shoot electrical faults and complete electrical < 12 and 24 volt systems
- Prepare new machines for sales team
- Complete scheduled servicing
- Machine and component rebuilds
- Trouble shoot hydraulic faults
