The Role

Community Solutions are seeking an electrical apprentice based in Townsville hosted with a long-standing private business servicing large commercial organisations including hospitals, airports & Universities. The right person must be reliable, highly motivated, a passion for the electrical industry and willingness to learn and grow within the industry. 

Requirements

  • Valid Manual Driver's licence with own transport
  • Exemplar profiling must be up to date if commenced in trade
  • A Cert II in Electrotechnology will be highly regarded
  • White Card (Construction Safety Induction) or willing to obtain
  • LVR/CPR current or willing to renew
  • completed placement hours or had electrical work experience
  • Ability to think logically and process diagnostic ability
  • Able to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Display an eagerness to work
  • Enjoy completing practical work
  • Able to carry out precise and detailed work
  • Ability to provide two professional references
  • Pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
