Our Family

We are looking for a nanny / carer for our 5 year old son during school terms. He has a developmental delay, wears a hearing aid and is non- verbal but understands what he is being told. He is a pretty relaxed little guy who just needs some extra time and support. We are wanting to start with 2 mornings this year Term 3 (ASAP - 19th sept) ? Thursday 7:30-9:30am ? Friday 7:30-9:30am Term 4 (9th Oct - 12th Dec) ? Thursday 7:30-9:30am ? Friday 7:30-9:30am Next year Increasing to 16-20hours per week. Our 8 year old sometimes also be home during the afternoons. Terms * Monday 7:30-9:30am + 3:15-6pm * Tuesday 7:30-9:30am + 3:15-6pm * Wednesday 3:15-6pm * Thursday 7:30-9:30am * Friday 7:30-9:30am The role will involve assisting in getting ready for school and assisting our 5 year old onto the school bus. We also have an expectation for light domestic duties such as tidying up after breakfast and picking up his toys once he is on the bus. On Tuesdays he has therapy in the home 8-8:45am and will then need to be driven and dropped off to school (5min away). We will provide a car seat for the journey. He will be catching the bus home. Requirements ; - Blue card - First aid and CPR certification - Knowledge of or willingness to learn Auslan key sign - Own car and Licence with comprehensive insurance - National Police Check - ABN and invoicing
