The Role
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join the team to provides financial, administrative and clerical support to the business and is responsible for both firm and client related expenses. This role also supports a range of Finance related tasks including reconciliations and matter administration as required by the team.
What You Offer
Key responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner, including coordinating payments to vendors in compliance with the firm's policies and procedures
- Process employee and Partner expenses
- Reconcile accounts payable ledgers to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted, as well as verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Monitor and manage Accounts Payable inbox
- Preparation of creditor ageing analysis and report payment forecasts for cashflow purposes to the Financial Reporting & Analysis Manager
- Provide training and educate staff on accounts payable policies and staff expense reimbursement policies
- Provide an excellent level of service externally to clients and internally to the firm
